Some exciting new models of Senior housing have emerged in the last decade – like the Village Model and Cohousing Models.

We’re developing an idea for a new appropriate housing model tailored to the communities heavy with multi-family homes such as the ubiquitous Brooklyn Brownstone.

It’s an intergenerational cohousing model designed to encompass the entire building (2-4 units) to support and subsidize low income senior homeowners to age in place.

Over the next two years (2013-2014) we’ll be developing and piloting this model in Brooklyn.
