• Alfred Austin, a famous British poet once wrote, “the glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just on the body, but the soul”.  This beautiful quote sums up the goal of the Veneration Garden. Through the garden, we want create an intergenerational bond. Seniors, middle aged, young adults, and children can learn so much from each other. However, we usually do not have the chance to unlock each other’s knowledge and talk.

Gardening, in my opinion, is the perfect medium for this discourse to start. There is something quite universally human about growing, nurturing, and seeing plants grow. We know that building this garden will be a huge undertaking. However, we are very optimistic and determined.  The Veneration staff will be blogging every step of the way. I can’t wait for the day we say the Veneration garden is here.
